Santa Cruz Beach Session

75 minute session with 30 images of your choice to keep. Interactive styling tool/wardrobe guidance to find the perfectly coordinated outfits is included. Turnaround time is currently 3 weeks. The session is limited to immediate family only. To add on additional family members, please add that to cart before checking out.

Location: Breathtaking beach location with dynamic views. Location has greenery, hills, rock formations, sand, Pacific Ocean and sweeping views of the California Coastline. There is both an upper portion of the beach as well as lower. In the springtime there is a beautiful mustard field across the parking which is great for photos too. The location is along the coast, just a bit north of Santa Cruz, in the town of Davenport. Exact directions and location will be emailed before your session. Be prepared to take your shoes off and get wet at the end!

Be advised: There is a short but steep rocky hike down to the beach therefore I typically do not recommend this location for maternity clients or those with small babies (but you may still choose to book). There is always a possibility of gusty winds due to proximity to the ocean (I love this as it adds movement in the images). It can be COLD! If you want a session in Santa Cruz with NO hike, feel free to ask for location #2.

Beach sessions are 75 minutes rather than 50 minutes to allow enough time to walk from point to point so you get can get photos in all diverse landscape this unique beach offers.

Timings for this session very season to season (general window, exact time will be discussed when session is booked) but is generally 1-2 hours prior to sunset:
Winter: 2pm-4pm
Spring: 4pm-6pm
Summer: 6pm-8pm
Fall: 4pm-6pm
